Thread Zone could also be thought of as a network of forums. A zone is a subforum created and run by its own independent community. A Thread Zone account lets you create and join these communities. Thread Zone is free to use and supported by the community via Patreon.

[2.1] Q: How do I make my zone private? A: Within your zone, click Admin Panel on the top bar. - If you don't want your zone to show up on the zones list, check Unlisted and hit Update Settings. Next, click Edit Roles/Permissions on the bottom of the page. From the Template dropdown, choose "Invite-only". - If you don't want non-members to be able to read your MOTD, uncheck "Read MOTD" for Anonymous. - If you want to allow anyone to register, check the Register option for Anonymous. Click Update Roles.

[2.2] Q: How do I remove a zone from the top bar? A: On the Zones page, click Hide.

[2.3] Q: How do I blankpost? A: Official blankposting support has been added. Blankpost away!

[2.4] Q: Why don't old posts update after I changed my name/avatar? A: Changing your name or avatar only affects posts made after the change.

[2.5] Q: Can Thread Zone admins view private zones? A: No.

[2.6] Q: Are there any hotkeys? A: Press ` in a thread to activate the reply box. Press ~ (shift and `) to scroll to the bottom of the page and focus the reply box. Press shift and enter to submit a reply.

[2.8] Q: Do I get any perks for becoming a patron? A: Patrons can use animated gifs as their avatars (1MB, 150x150 max). You can upload images twice as big (10MB→20MB). Your file upload storage quota is greatly inceased (+20GB). You also get access to a patrons-only zone.

[2.9] A: Can I become a moderator? Q: You can. Seriously, new zones can be created at any time, and there are no minimum requirements for applying. Even so, only a few people are using Thread Zone. If you seriously want to be a moderator, you'll need to click this link. Pestering the current administrators for a new feature essentially guarantees that it will be implemented.
